Aqeel & Ushna Dominate Serena Masters Cup

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s top tennis players, Aqeel Khan and Ushna Suhail, clinched the men’s and women’s singles titles at the 3rd Serena Masters Cup held at the PTF/DA Tennis Complex.

  • Aqeel Khan defeated Barkatullah in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to claim the men’s singles title.
  • Ushna Suhail showcased her dominance by overcoming Sheeza Sajid 6-4, 4-0 (rtd) to secure the women’s title.

Doubles Final Abandoned Due to Weather

The highly anticipated men’s doubles final could not be completed due to inclement weather. The match was tied at 3-3 when it was abandoned. As a result:

  • Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi & Aqeel Khan
  • Shahzad Khan & M. Abid

Both pairs were declared joint winners.
