“End of an Era: Kim Jones Steps Down from Dior Men!”Reflecting on his legacy and the future of the brand.

Dior announced that Kim Jones is stepping down from his role as artistic director of menswear, marking a significant transition for the brand.

Delphine Arnault, Dior’s chairman and CEO, praised Jones’s contributions, stating, “He has continually reinterpreted the house’s heritage with creativity and surprising collaborations.” Reflecting on his time, Jones expressed gratitude to his team and collaborators, calling it an honor to create within the House of Dior.

Since joining in 2018, Jones has redefined menswear and recently received France’s chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur from Vogue’s Anna Wintour, alongside a star-studded audience. He also holds an OBE designation awarded by Queen Elizabeth II in 2020.

Before Dior, Jones led Louis Vuitton Men and was instrumental in the landmark 2017 Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration. Known for his collaborative spirit, he has worked with artists like Daniel Arsham and brands such as Stone Island.

As he looks forward to his next chapter, speculation mounts about whether he will revive his own label, potentially focusing on a broader lifestyle brand. The fashion community is eager to see what he does next.
