Witness the magic of fashion architecture as Willo Perron transforms the Grand Palais into a stunning sculptural runway for Chanel!

Designer Willo Perron created a striking curving runway for Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2025 show. It took place at the newly restored Grand Palais in Paris.

The white structure features two large C-shaped ramps that form an infinity symbol. This design honors the “infinite excellence of Haute Couture.”

The Grand Palais recently underwent significant restoration by Chatillon Architects. It will also host events for the 2024 Olympics. Chanel has a long-standing relationship with the venue. Since 2018, it has been the exclusive patron and recently renewed its commitment.

Perron designed the runway to resemble the iconic Chanel logo. The double C symbolizes infinity. The structure rises at the center on metallic bases, allowing models to move along the runway surrounded by spectators.

The collection showcased vibrant materials, including embroidered chiffons and Chanel’s signature tweeds. It honored Coco Chanel’s innovative use of color. The designs transitioned from soft pastels to deeper hues, reflecting the shift from day to night.

Chanel recently converted a Brooklyn diner into a pop-up shop. Perron also collaborated with an American design studio for a Los Angeles exhibition. The Grand Palais has been named the most significant building of 2024 in Dezeen’s architecture series.
