Pakistan Offers Full Support for Cricket Development in the USA
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured the CEO of USA Cricket that Pakistan is fully committed to helping develop cricket in the United States. During their meeting, Naqvi promised full support and assistance from PCB to strengthen the sport in America.
Strengthening Cricket Ties
Naqvi emphasized that the PCB is ready to provide all possible help to boost cricket in the US. Both parties also agreed to finalize the schedule for upcoming cricket matches between the two nations. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and planning programs to promote cricket in the United States.
Training & Collaboration
In a significant move, the PCB Chairman invited USA Cricket coaches to visit Pakistan for special training programs. This gesture highlights the growing cooperation between the two countries in cricket development.
Additionally, Naqvi invited the USA Cricket CEO to attend the Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Pakistan. This invitation aims to further cricket promotion in both countries and strengthen their partnership.
Gratitude & Presence of PSL CEO
The USA Cricket CEO expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support and the invitation to the Champions Trophy. The meeting also included PSL Chief Executive Officer, Salman Naseer, who was in Washington for discussions.
Update on Saim Ayub’s Recovery
On a different note, Mohsin Naqvi provided updates about cricketer Saim Ayub’s rehabilitation. He mentioned that he is in constant contact with Ayub, checking on his recovery progress daily.
“Saim Ayub is currently undergoing rehabilitation, and his foot cast will be removed in a day or two,” Naqvi said.
He also emphasized that Ayub’s recovery will take time. “I do not want to risk his future by rushing his return for the Champions Trophy 2025,” he added.
